Holly Finch
Holly is a dancer, choreographer, and performer hailing from Taupō, who’s training spans Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop and Commercial styles. She is a versatile artist, with a unique style of choreography and creative practice; informed by her diverse background.
Holly trained professionally at Ettingshausens Pro (Sydney) on scholarship, and in the Broadway Dance Centre ISVP programme (New York). More recently she has trained with NZX next (Aotearoa), and taken workshops abroad including Deltebre Dansa (Spain) and Henny Jurrien summer intensive (Netherlands).
Some of Holly's recent dancer credits include stage work '10 Duets on a Theme of Rescue' by renowned Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite, ‘Lorde’ music videos ‘Solar Power’ and ‘Mood Ring’, ‘Sachi’ music video ‘Down on Your Luck’, TV shows ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and ‘Shortland Street’, and theatre shows ‘The Most Naked’ by Hannah Tasker-Poland and 'STRUCTURE' by Bella Wilson.
She has worked with many leading New Zealand choreographers and entertainment companies including Kayla Paige, Kiel Tutin, Todd Williamson, Momentum Productions and Diamond Entertainment.
Some of Holly’s choreographic credits include presenting work at Tempo Dance Festival (2019, 2020, 2022), Taking Dance to the People by Dance Aotearoa NZ (2020), Tūrama Choreographic Residency (2021), and ‘In cupids arrow affinity flows’ a short film by Douglas Reddan (2024).
