RECENT WORK THROUGH THE AGENCY

Holly Finch is an Aotearoa based dance artist driven by a deep passion for storytelling. With extensive training in contemporary, hip hop, physical theatre, improvisation, ballet, and commercial styles, she draws from this diverse foundation to cultivate a distinctive and evolving artistic voice. Her practice spans stage and screen, with a strong interest in multidisciplinary intersections explored through a contemporary lens.


Holly’s theatre and live performance includes Crystal Pite’s 10 Duets on a Theme of Rescue (Perth, AUS), Hannah Tasker-Poland’s award-winning The Most Naked (Aotearoa), Tegan Jeffrey-Rushton’s award-winning Overture (Adelaide and Sydney, AUS), and WOW - World of Wearable Art show (Poneke). Her screen credits include Lorde’s music videos Solar Power and Mood Ring, alongside television appearances on Dancing with the Stars and Shortland Street. She was also rehearsal director and a featured dancer in Richard Crouchley’s short film Grey Matter.


Her recent choreographic work includes her debut full-length theatre show yes and also no, subject to xyz, fine print applies, created in collaboration with performers Oli Mathiesen, Natasha Kohler, and Tegan Jeffrey-Rushton. The work premiered as part of Basement Theatre’s Spring Programme 2025 to strong critical response. She has also presented works at Tempo Dance Festival (Windows, a site-specific activation, and LENSES, a dance film), and choreographed and performed a solo work for DANZ’s Taking Dance to the People series. Additional credits include assistant choreographing with Neale Whittaker for Nathan Foley’s music videos Strut and First Last Kiss, and choreographing Douglas Reddan’s short film In Cupid’s Arrow, Affinity Flows.
