Auckland based Asher is a passionate, hardworking, and professional hip-hop dancer who began his dance journey at the age of four. Known for his charisma, stage presence, and exceptional entertainment value, Asher has established himself as a versatile performer with strong foundations in authentic hip-hop grooves, while also training across styles including krump, popping, locking, breaking and femme.

Asher has competed extensively throughout New Zealand and internationally as both a soloist and a crew member. He has trained under some of New Zealand’s leading choreographers and is recognised for his commitment, adaptability, and dedication to continually refining his craft.

Internationally, Asher proudly represented New Zealand at the Hip Hop International World Championships in Arizona in 2025, where his crew achieved an outstanding 5th place in the World Finals. As a soloist, he has earned significant international success, including being crowned Hip-Hop Champion and receiving the Mr. Entertainment Award at the Get The Beat World Finals in Thailand 2023 for his age division, as well as achieving Runner-Up Hip-Hop Soloist at the Evolution Australian Nationals. He has also received numerous national titles and awards recognising his outstanding performance quality and entertainment value.

Outside of competition, Asher has experience in the film and television industry, appearing in a K-Pop television show filmed in New Zealand and as an extra in Netflix’s Sweet Tooth Season 1. Asher brings professionalism, confidence, and a strong work ethic to every set and performance environment.

Of Chinese, European, and Māori descent, Asher is a proud young performer who combines authenticity, versatility, and a genuine love of entertaining.
