RECENT WORK THROUGH THE AGENCY

Auckland-based dancer Bella Black has trained across jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, and hip hop, developing into a versatile performer.

For seven years she has excelled in the Asia Pacific Dance syllabus (APDA), consistently achieving perfect scores in hip hop. Recognised for her outstanding technique, Bella has featured in APDA’s global training and marketing videos and is now a contributing choreographer for the Urban Ignition syllabus, taught in studios worldwide.

Bella is also involved in quarterly releases for Les Mills Born to Move, inspiring young dancers through filmed projects. Internationally, she has represented New Zealand with standout results - competing at the World Hip Hop Championships with Lynx (2022 & 2023), leading the crew as captain in 2022, and winning Street Dance Girls Fighter in 2023, a Korean T.V show. Most recently, she travelled to Los Angeles with The Collective, where they claimed first place in the Teams Division and third overall at World of Dance.

Proudly of Cook Island Māori descent, Bella embraces every chance to honour her culture and inspire others through dance.
